1 and 3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup melted butter - cream together sugar and butter
2 eggs
1 Tbs vanilla
Add together in a separate bowl:
1 cup cake flour
1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
Alternating dry ingredients with 1 and 1/4 cup milk until mixed completely. Bake 350F for 15 - 18 min.
Dye sections of cake batter and add each color to cupcakes. Fill 2/3 the way full.
1 and 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup melted butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 and 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
Refridgerate for 2 hours. Roll and cut out shapes. Bake at 375F for 7-8 min.
Pink nose skittles, black licorice wiskers, mini marshmallow cotton tails, sugar eyes, cookie bunny ears.
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp clear vanilla - to keep the frosting white
2 Tbs heavy whipping cream, or milk, or water, but I think heavy whipping cream tastes best
4 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbs Meringue Powder (optional)
